The June 8, 32 ERIE employees and agents in Rochester, NY, argued Tour de Cure, a series cycling events to benefit the American Diabetes Association. Employees of both claims and sales, as well as agents, rode bikes or have a sponsored ERIE rest stop for more than 2,500 runners.
Their teamwork has paid off. They exceeded their fundraising goal, raising $ 5,837 for the cause. ERIE gave an additional sum of $ 2,500 through sponsorship. ERIE an employee was even recognized for raising $ 1,000 on itself.
The team said they look forward to their pedal power wisely next year.
