For 08, the US Department of Health and Human Services and other health care organizations that sponsor year national health awareness.

For the full calendar year, there will be daily observances, weekly, monthly and that focus on specific health issues.

Each will respect teachers, health professionals, and health groups a chance to educate and raise awareness on the prevention of illness and health risks

This Mars, there are 18 different health concerns to watch -. with some already passed. Here are some periods ahead of observance

• March 13 World Kidney Day
• March 16 to 22 March: National Poison Week prevention
• March 25 American Day Alert diabetes
• Month of March: nutrition Month
• Month Mars: Months multiple national education and awareness plates
