What is the most dangerous season for driving, winter or summer? If you said the winter, you can reach about 83% of Americans. But the reality is that the three summer months have the highest rates of automobile accidents, which represents about one in three deaths. And as we have already discussed Saturday in August are some of the most dangerous days of driving.
When it comes to the summer driving safety, there are certainly spots that are hotter than others. The Daily Beast crunched the numbers on the data 5 years of data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to come up with a list of 100 US highways most likely to generate a fatal accident.
