The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) has announced road tests of driving license which can now be scheduled online. This should be a welcome service to 2,500 hundred people taking road tests in an average week - no more waiting on hold on the phone. It's good timing because people RMV say that there is a higher demand for test drives during the summer.
If you have not visited the site MA RMV lately, you might be surprised at all the things you can now do it online. The site has seen a 39% growth in traffic over the last year, making it the office "busiest branch", which helps to relieve the enormous pressure of 30 branches. The MA RMV serves more 4.6 million drivers a year

- Convert an out of state license
- Renew license, MA ID and registration
- Sign up for a reminder of license renewal

MA RMV adds several representatives services
the announcement of the new online service follows a recent announcement that it will expand the RMV customer service by adding 42 representatives of customer service in positions of frontline services and training 37 college interns to manage licensing and registration renewals in branches. As part of its ongoing partnership with AAA, it will also permanently open three new branches in the AAA Southern New England offices - Worcester, Framingham Plymouth.
