We are in the heart of flu season again - it reappears every year from October to May and peaks usually in February. If you have the flu, it usually lasts one to two weeks - but it can be much more serious for certain groups: the elderly (65+), children (especially those under 2), and people with chronic diseases. Your best defense is prevention through vaccine against influenza. The CDC suggests that everyone 6 months and older should be vaccinated against influenza.
